One Hundred Years
One Hundred Years, my label founded in 2008, has undergone a continuous transformation in tune with my changing passions, interests, and circumstances. Throughout its journey, it has maintained a steadfast commitment to crafting small-batch, slow fashion. In the face of today's climate crisis, I'm deeply engaged in exploring innovative ways to make the most of existing fabrics in circulation. I breathe new life into vintage tablecloths, bedspreads, and fabric, fashioning them into fresh garments and accessories, ensuring these materials keep circulating and don't go to waste. My distinctive touch comes from incorporating public domain botanical illustrations and lesser-known artworks, granting them a renewed lease of life. These I have printed onto fabric here in Australia. In essence, my artistic practice revolves around the art of reimagining the treasures of the past for a brighter and more sustainable future.
