I work mainly in acrylics and oils on canvas from my home studio in South Bunbury. My favourite theme is the ocean as I spend most of my leisure time paddling, swimming or surfing in our beautiful south west waters. I love to capture the colours and moods as the seasons change and I’m intrigued by the power of the waves and reflections on calm waters. I also work with soft pastels and mixed media incorporating ceramics into my works. After many decades as an art teacher, I am happily transitioning to full time artist and I am enjoying success in this role. This is my third year as an exhibiting artist and I like to have a variety of works available for people to purchase and l love meeting and talking to the art lovers who attend this event. It is a very uplifting day.
